(3) Syllabus

This course deals with the gradual formation of human knowledge about earth’s surface through the processes of exploration, understanding and systematic recording. More specifically, it examines the perception about Geography within a historical perspective, starting from the Ancient World, passing through the Middle Ages and the Renaissance up to our modern times when geography became organized as a formal academic discipline.
