Welcome to the Master's Program in "Geography and Applied Geoinformatics". I wish you a successful journey. This program, initiated in 2005, aims to provide contemporary knowledge, skills, and abilities at the postgraduate level in the evolving scientific and technological field of Geoinformatics, with a focus on applications for solving geographic problems.

The objective of the Master's program is to produce highly specialized scientists and researchers capable of contributing to the design, development, and application of Geoinformatics methods and techniques across the spectrum of Geography Science fields, in alignment with the specific developmental needs of Greece.

Through a structured curriculum with options in the second semester based on your interests and goals, the program offers courses in both fundamental knowledge in Geography and Geoinformatics, as well as specialized topics that constantly adapt to scientific and technological advancements.

All instructors of the program are committed to providing you with an academic environment oriented towards continuous support, according to your previous studies and needs. Your Academic Advisor is believed to assist you in addressing any questions, difficulties, or problems that may arise. We are open to thoughts and proposals that will improve the quality of teaching, and we encourage you to participate sincerely and responsibly in the course evaluation process that will take place at the end of the first two semesters.
